Upgraded Sentinel app will be released in one week (04 October 2016)!

Exciting news….the upgraded Sentinel mobile app will be available for Controllers of Site Safety (COSS), Site Access Controllers (SAC), Training Providers, etc. to download on any smartphone device from Tuesday 04 October 2016!
As a reminder, Sentinel is an industry-wide safety system that checks track workers have valid competences, medicals and sponsors. The upgraded intuitive app enhances safety by identifying when track workers haven’t had 12 hours rest between shifts – with a simple ‘swipe out’ button. It is also an effective management tool which identifies who is working in a team (on one screen) and it reduces the amount of paperwork that has to be completed, including the competency log book.
Please can you:
- Share this news with colleagues, specifically those who use Sentinel to check competence and medical details, i.e. Controllers of Site Safety (COSS), Safe Work Leaders (SWL), etc.
- Advise them to download the upgraded mobile app next week – we’ve created a simple guide to help for iphone and android users
- Remind them to use the upgraded Sentinel app on every shift to keep everyone safe
- Continue to visit this website for training and communications materials to support staff in understanding how the upgraded app works, including e-Learning
