An update to the Sentinel App has been issued. This update should resolve the problem reported by some users where the app was crashing during the initial start-up.
Please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app to implement this update.

A real achievement…

We are happy to confirm that the upgraded Sentinel mobile app – which is designed to manage fatigue and prevent double-shifting by identifying when track workers has not had sufficient rest – has been released today! It can be downloaded / updated for free from the app store.

Initial feedback…

This Sentinel upgrade project, named Site Access, has been in progress for approx three years now and it is positive to hear the initial industry feedback.  It is being well received because users can see the safety benefits that the app offers, including surfacing accurate competence / medical information and the ability to record competence usage electronically.

Remember that Sentinel is safety tool for Controllers of Site Safety (COSS), Training Providers / Assessors and Site Access Controllers and this short video emphasises the importance of it.
