An update to the Sentinel App has been issued. This update should resolve the problem reported by some users where the app was crashing during the initial start-up.
Please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app to implement this update.

New Sentinel reporting tool in Business Analytics (NR only)

A new Sentinel reporting page for Network Rail is now available. This is an easy and visually appealing way to view usage levels for the Sentinel app.

All this information can be filtered by Function/Route/DU/Depot/Supervisor/Event/Date & Sentinel Number.

The new Sentinel page includes the following information:

  • High level statistics
  • Swipe in and Swipe out comparisons
  • Spot Check/Denied/Basic Read/IVR numbers
  • The number of Risk Assessments and Safety Briefs recorded
  • The number of times Use of Competence has been recorded

Any of this information can be exported to use in your team meetings/ACC conversations.

Note: The reports you will see are managed by the NR Business Analytics team. If you have any problems regarding the data please contact the Business Analytics team through the usual fault reporting channels. (NR login required)

In time this information will be tailored to each Delivery Unit but this level of automation is not available yet.
