Sentinel at Rail Live – thank you for coming!

The Governance and Assurance team, part of Network Rail Training, pulled together to staff a Sentinel stand in the Network Rail Village at Rail Live in Long Marston on Wednesday and Thursday 19^th and 20^th June.

The team spoke to over 175 people and received more than 50 specific enquiries about various aspects of Sentinel. These related to queries from potential new users about the role and purpose of the system and how it works as well as specific operational matters which we were able to advise on. The team also received suggestions for how the system could be developed in future to make it even more useful for users.

It was a pleasure to meet so many people, gather greater knowledge of users’ experiences of Sentinel and receive plenty of positive views on the current system and possible ideas for development.
